Numerical High-Order Model for the Nonlinear Elastic Computation of Helical Structures

In this work, we propose a high-order algorithm based on the asymptotic numerical method (ANM) for nonlinear elastic computation of helical structures without neglecting any term. The nonlinearity considered in following study will be geometric type, and kinematics adopted modeling takes into account hypotheses Timoshenko de Saint-Venant. finite element used discretization middle line structure is curvilinear with twelve degrees freedom. Using simple example, show efficiency which was carried out context resides reduction number inversions tangent matrix compared to incremental iterative Newton-Raphson.
